No one is expecting an unplanned pregnancy, and the women we are serving come from diverse environments and contexts. Many times tragic experiences like abuse and abandonment contribute to the crisis that these women get into. Very often, because of the ignorance and the overwhelming feelings of shame, the family puts pressures onto women to choose abortion.
God’s heart is broken for the thousands of Romanian children aborted every year. The goal for Living Alternatives is to offer love, care, support, and counseling to the women overwhelmed by an unplanned pregnancy. We do all these things to see children saved and their mothers redeemed.
